“I had serious trouble with the guitar . . . . prising it out of the grubby fingers of half the club who wanted to try it out, so I could pack up and go home!
The guitar is great. My friend with a music shop sorted out a flat case for me, but of course it is designed for a full length electric guitar. I walked into a folk club last night and took some “stick” for having the case, and an amp under my arm, but they were interested when I brought out the tiny guitar (two of them started an argument as to whether the neck was an XP300 or an XP301 or something, and if it was an original or a copy) and they all played along with everything I did . . . . some “folkies” are very funny about “acoustic instruments only” – they never got over Dylan going electric, I think.”
